WAYS TO HELP
ARCHIVEFill The HillFREEDOM MARCH ON PARLIAMENT HILL Canabian Day Festival IIAug 21 2004 in Toronto, Hamilton and Niagara Falls. The 1st Annual Nationwide Cannabis Awareness Event August 30th - Canabian Day - Toronto. The event is being held for the purpose of showing the government how serious we are about legalizing Cannabis in Canada. We’ll be having live bands and guest speakers, hoping to get some well known bands and celebrities there to help support the cause as well. We’ll also be handing out a petition to be signed by all people in attendance and it will be handed to the government. Details TBA. July 2003 The cannabis laws in Canada have been struck one death blow after another in the courts, particularly in Ontario. Although the legal ground is still considered too shaky to dare mention that the cannabis laws have been unconstitional since the Charter of Rights and Freedoms came into effect on April 17, 1982, history should eventually reveal this in time. Now is the time to get involved, and there are several ways to do this:DARE TO RESIST BEING ARRESTED FOR CANNABIS POSSESSION, OR HAVING YOUR CANNABIS CONFISCATED. Challenge any arrest in court with the Rogin decision and Charter of Rights and Freedoms
